Terrific models, Keko, and you're an incentive for me to do a little research. I confess that I know nothing of either of these two cars. When I started reading, I found out why. There were few of them produced and the prices were way, way above me! But you gave the impetus for some fun, thanks to

Both models are very nice ended in the regular line of Matrix and Neo. Interiors are very good detailed with two tone leather seats, for example.

You're right

Tom Tjaarda was the designer of both cars. He said he was inspired for the Deauville in the most sportier sedan of the moment, the Jaguar XJ... And for the Lonchamp, the inspiration came by the Mercedes SLC, but in this case the similarity is a little less. When De Tomaso purchased Maserati, he built the Kyalami, that was in fact a rebadged Longchamp with the V8 Maserati engine instead the Ford V8...
