PICS -- Motor City 1946 Chrysler Town & Country Sedan...
Thanks to the kindness of a collector who alerted me to the availability of this gorgeous Chrysler, I was able to add this beauty to my collection. Below are a few pics that I managed to snap of this highly detailed jewel -- please excuse the reflections in the pic.
Magnificent!
Ditto on that Dillon! In case you feel like accessorizing that fabulous T&C...

...It shouldn't take much effort to carve up and varnish a balsa skiff, paddle and fishing rod to complete that "outdoorsy" look!
Either way, it's a great addition to your collection.

Thanks, Tom! Sadly, you over-estimate my model making skills. LOL.
One of Pete Kenna's very best!
John, is a list available of the MOCs on which Pete worked? Thanks.
Dillon, I can just say congratulations! Thats a very outstanding model!!
Thanks, Christoph!
Awesome unit! Wish it was mine..and that I knew such a kind collector!
I doubt it unfortunately. It's no use asking Pete - he won't remember!
Pete is a naturally gifted model maker - his work is brilliant and he's recognised in the industry as being one of the best along with Ian Pickering and Dave, who works with John Wright. However, ask what he's working on and he'll say, 'Oh I don't know, some American thing!' He is modest about his work but extremely accurate. He's responsible for many of the Brooklin reworks that we have been seeing in recent times whilst Dave and Ian have been working on new masters. Brooklin are lucky to have these 'Masters of Masters' on board.
Brooklin aren't the only lucky one, John. So are we collectors.
Where would we be without the talents of these masters? Their creative gifts are
incredible.
I'm also grateful for the creative abilities of folks such as yourself, who can
transform standard cars into things of individualized beauty. We are in the best
of all possible worlds right now.
That's funny, John! Thanks for the background info.
