Here is a 4-door Plymouth for 1959. This one came as a very nice taxi from the James Bond spy movie, 'From Russia With Love". I later converted it to a standard civilian '59 Plymouth, but it looks very good in either configuration. The pictures here show it both ways,

And apparently this casting went on to be  White Box and IXO items in different colors and side trim.  These are what I used to create a number of variations as shown in the earlier post photo as part of Harvey Gorenson's post of Oct 5, 2023:

September was a good month to add a couple of 1959 Mopars to my collection.

Back in the day I was not fond of the 59 Plymouths however over the years I've learned to like them.

Plymouth had one more year (1960) of the eye-catching fins, and then went with the equally eye-catching no fins 1961. As a kid, I had models of both these neat Plymouths ...... and even now I have diecast or resin models of both these in various scales. All very interesting cars !

Invert the tires and you have an unmarked police car.

It is interesting how just a simple change can alter the whole character of a replica automobile ....... even if just done for a photograph or for display !
