Pics: went to pick up my wife at the local Country Club
She was working a wedding show there. Parked out front was this:
Thanks for posting John. The '41 Caddy is a beauty!!
Love that Caddy!!
John, here's what I glanced over to see just after your great pictures-
photo no longer available
Made by Hubley just before WW II. I'm not happy with my work, but other projects keep me from finishing. This is, I think, a series 62, not the great big limo. Enjoy! David Holcombe
Great pictures, beautiful car, but Where's the Snow?!!!! Have had enough of the change in seasons.
I'm with you Frank!
Virginia is about as far North as I want to be anymore. Winters have been mercifully mild the last few years and I don't miss the snow or the cold from where I grew up in Youngstown, Ohio.
Both of you are welcome to southern California anytime!!
Lloyd M. Question ?
Where are you in Southern California. I am in Carlsbad. Just curious ! Randy B.
Long Beach/Belmont Shore area. Next time I go to San Diego
I will let you know. Maybe we can meet for lunch.
I'll be in LA in March, Lloyd
I attend a Pastor's Conference at John MacArthur's church near Burbank. It's always a little bit of a jump start on my Spring season.
Outstanding. Lets try to get together if time permits.
I'll keep you posted!
Lloyd M. / John K.
That would be great if you wanted to do that. I do not live to far off the freeway I5 that is and I know of a couple nice places to eat right off the freeway. It would be nice to meet some of the folks on this forum who share the same sickness and to put a face to the name. No pressure though I know life is busy. I would not mind meeting John K as well in March. Not that I am trying to well you know butt in. I enjoy both of your post's on the forum. Well anyway Enjoy the Day, RANDY B.
I agree. I was just going to post that those of us in SoCal should try to get together in conjunction with John's visit. Thoughts/comments??
I'll be in town on March 5,6 & 7 (arrive late on the 4th and leave early on the 8th). I'm not sure I can get away for too long, it's a pretty intese conference, but I would sure like to try. If we can arrange a meeting place somewhere near Burbank or Van Nuys, that would work for me.
I'll be staying at a Motel 8 on Laurel Canyon Rd, the church is on Roscoe Blvd just up from the Van Nuys Airport. I'll have a car so I can drive to our meeting place.
