I thought all Gremlins were 1:43!!!
1:43 Gremlins John.
John.
I think you are right,Gremlins were made for midget folks. Tall folks would have to remove the front seat.
Nice one Dillon
Levi Gremlin.
I saw one in SO Cal last year, It was at a show, The inteior looked like it was kept in moth balls, Like new, Only 16,000 miles. Yes a Levi interior.
Wasn't the Corvorado mount threaded? Maybe Left handed?
James could deal with it though! Oh you talking about the driver or the girl?
(pic) Ah, yes! the epitome of great American taste...
in the 70's, the Levi Gremlin and the AMC Matador Barcelona!

Let's not forget the Pacer, now there was a classic, not!
AMC could never leave well enough alone and kept spending their money on ill-conceived projects but not on people. On three occasions between 1960 and 1972 I interviewed and was offered positions at American Motors. On all three occasions I was offered the job at the same or less money than I was making elsewhere even though these were jobs that should have been rated much higher.
Dick/ Amc Pacer.

Oops! I'm a Marlin Fan!
particularly the later ones that were done on the Ambassador platform.
AMC Products
If you fellas ever travel to southern Wisconsin, you will see many Pacers, Gremlins, Marlins and the lot. So many people worked in Kenosha and bought what they made that has lasted these many years. It is quite common to see them at local car shows on a regular basis. Some don't even carry the antique license plates.
AMC products.
There are thousands still running around rust free southern california.
Gremlin! As I'm sure you all know, the term Gremlin was coined by the RAF pilots in World War 2. Gremlins were the mystical little beings that appeared when no-one was looking and fouled up the engines and other bits of Spitfires, Hurricanes and the like. Ironic that American Motors should pick a mystical destructive little creature as a model name! Did it do A.M. any good?
Shel Platt - Marlin question
In reference to John's post, Were Marlins actually produced on more than one platform?
Evidently not John.
