@daveg Dave; as a person who has a working relationship with GLM Models, I wonder if you have heard any scuttlebutt regarding a very limited series of 1970 Olds Toronados being commissioned by Forumite Randy Rusk; apparently called The Rusk Museum Special? A mole in the GLM factory sent me these pics of an apparent 1:1 being measured there....can you confirm? Just between us you understand.....I want to reserve one before they're all snapped up!
@daveg If it was ever possible for a car to feel emotion I believe this Toro would be suicidal.
🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣

if there's a pink tank out there, could an orange armored car be far behind?
Right! My actual comment was:
If company A produces a 1943 PINK Sherman tank.... Is it correct? Well, if one guy in Ohio has one painted PINK, then that's an accurate model of ONE tank.
But what about the other 16,653 painted green?
Therefore, using your example... If a model of this orange armored car is produced, will it be correct? A: Yes. But what about the thousands that weren't painted for promotional purposes? Why replicate this one (or 2 or 3 ) when so many others were painted differently?
I know, I know... Go ask Mr. Owl. A: The world may never know!
@chris As some of you college football fans know, U of TN has a "Vol Navy" in that a lot of fans in their boats show up on the Tennessee River near Neyland Stadium on fall Saturdays. This was an attempt to create a "Vol Army" as well. Hence the "Big Orange" paint. I'd repaint an old Dinky except their version is 2-axle, not 3.
