The Caribbean - as the title suggests - is meant to be a sunshine car: shoreline, country club, and nothing says sunshine like a white convertible top.
Definitely off white for me.

Perhaps, but have you ever tried to keep a white convertible top clean? Dark color tops for me please. 😏 IMO, boots should always match interior colors, regardless of top color. Most of the time, the OEMs agreed with me.... 😏
Offwhite on the blue for me.
It is a beautiful 1954 Packard Caribbean convertible, so I would love it in any color but 100 % clear !
In 1/18, my Yat Ming 1953 Caribbean has the boot (and presumably would have a top) in white on the dark red one and black on the light cream one.
They each look really good.
