Folks, Al Stack has passed away. He was a pillar of the hobby and a champion for the Brooklin Collectors Club. He will be missed.

I’m very sorry to hear this. He was a leader in our hobby who will indeed be badly missed.
That is a sad occurrence, yet I guess it is inevitable for all of us at sometime.
@michaeldetorrice This is our life biggest achievement to be forgotten fast 😋
Well, Japanese folklore said you only live twice (007 !). Once in your regular life ....and once in your dreams and imagination. One really only passes away when it is the last time your name is ever mentioned on Earth.
While My contact with Al was only brief, he was very knowledgeable and helpful.

My first meeting with Al was about 35 years ago at the CTCS show in Toronto when the SFBBC held their annual meeting there. He was very knowledgeable about Brooklins then, and that knowledge only increased over the years. Very kind and very friendly. I'll miss seeing him at Chicago in March and reading his occasional posts here and on Facebook.

Although I never met Al Stack in person it was obvious through his very many contributions to this Forum, Brooklin clubs and other means of communication that he was a valued member of our hobby. May God bless you Al.
Al was a warm and gracious guy. I always enjoyed his insights into our hobby. Please post an obituary when it is available.
We are collecting remembrances of Al to publish soon in MAR Online. Please email me anything you wish to add. I also talked with him at BuzFest several times but had no idea how involved he had been with the hobby. goschnelle at gmail.com Thank you.
I found his obit online - https://www.danielsfamilyfuneral.com/obituaries/Albin-K-Stack?obId=45029017 May he rest in peace.
