As most of us are aware, Brooklin and SMTS fall under the same umbrella now. Just this morning, Brooklin created an SMTS tab on their website and has begun listing some SMTS models there. These have generally been hard to find and are fascinating. Check them out here

Nice to see JK. I have the 1952 BRM along with a model of the motor from SMTS early days.

Thanks John. Do you know if these are white metal or resin? I checked the website, but material was not specified.

All of my SMTS earlest models including the 1952 BRM are white metal with no resin parts. I don't know about materials in the current additions.

I will double check. I thought they were all white metal.

Simon says, "The Lotus Esprits, Vanwall and BRM are resin with white metal parts.

The lotus’s were fibreglass in reality and we have always made these in resin. The Vanwall and BRM are 1/18 and too big to do white metal bodies.
Almost every other SMTS car is white metal"

I was waiting for this first sign of their union, thanks for the news John.

They certainly don't have nearly all the available SMTS models listed on the Brooklin site.

Unlike Brooklin, SMTS relies heavily on the ebay platform to advertise and sell....they even don't sell models off their own SMTS site.

SMTS offers most of their models in unbuilt kit form.

Here is my most recent model from SMTS

Thanks for the info about smts.  I have been wondering what they were doing and selling.

Thanks for the info about smts

My pleasure Ed....you should check out their models. My faves are the Trans Am cars, which include the 1970 Cuda, Challenger, Javelin and Boss Mustangs.

@ben-lampson

I have two of the cars you referenced.  They were sold by Buz as part of the BOSS line.  The first is the 1970 Javelin Mark Donohue edition.  The second is the 1970 Barracuda AAR (All American Racers) Dan Gurney edition. The paint and graphics are very well done.  I purchased them in 2020 and 2021.  See following photos.
