Yes. It had improved detail. More chrome, heavier base, reflective headlights.

I recall dark green and black colours, too. My guess is it was issued ten years ago, or so in probably no more than 30 pieces.

As you said in your book the front is quite busy but well done. I remember to have seen one that was like orange color made by WMS. So if the WMCE has been already done he would be surprising than Buz do a second batch. Speaking of Oldsmobiles, i am more focused on CNQ Oldsmobiles right now by includ the 1962 Starfire and also the 1947 Olds series 76 dynamic cruiser 2 door club sedan. I was wonder about the 1947 if this one was a bit bigger than 1:43 scale because it is a model produced in 1995 ?

Allo, Michel. The CNQ S76 is larger than the S66 but was issued twice by Buz after 1995.

I have not researched the actual cars to see whether the width difference between the S66 and S76 is accurately depicted in 1:43. I think that the size of the models was uniform the three times they were run. And yes, only one run of the S66 sedan was done, the master being reworked for the '47 Chevrolet.

I should have gone in the archives I would have found the photo of your great collection of Oldsmobiles between 1937 and 1950 in front of the garage that I had missed. I can see the difference in width between the two 1947 Olds side by side and the width of the grille between the two. I didn't remember CNQ making the Olsmobile 1942 B-44 series 66 convertible with the top up. The 1942 Olds 98 Sedanet detailed and painted by J.R. looks awesome. Thanks Randall.
