A. J. Foyt drove this to victory in the Nassau Speed Weeks. Perhaps he was getting a taste for mid-engine cars for future Indy races?

Bahamas Speed Week was a great series that ran from 1954 to 1966 with a fantastic series of drivers and cars taking part.
This Scarab Mk IV driven by A.J.Foyt was the only win for this car at Nassau, but what a fantastic car it was.
It also won the American Challenge Cup at Daytona with A.J. Foyt and the Bridgehampton 500 with Walt Hansgen
