I've recounted that as a 5 year old I got a 1/25th AMT 1961 Imperial convertible in red. I carried it everywhere for a few years like Linus with his blanket.
So when Brooklin came out with their Imperial I got it in a heartbeat. Same with the blue convertible.
But it was the red I've been looking for for years...and now I have it! It was very reasonable, and best of all it was a birthday gift today.

Always nice to finally get a sought after model. Congratulations Ed and happy birthday.
Good for you! Happy Birthday!!
Oh boy, what a birthday treat ! A beautiful red 1961 Imperial. I have one in this color although it's in 1/18 from Yat Ming Signature Series. Any color of this car is great but the red is especially gorgeous.
Happy birthday and congrats!

You appear to be quite happy with your new 1/43 "toy." If you're happy, then we're happy! 😏 😏 😏
But I must ask...... Surely, you didn't build a 1/25 model at age 5, so just how did you get it? Brother? Mom & Dad?

Great to hear about your 'new' Imperial Ed !
Happy Birthday !
