i received the Madeira Maroon version a few days ago. I choose to take pictures showing more the fine details and proportions of the model rather than the color shade of maroon.
The paint job is flawless as well as the interior. My only criticism is the hood ornament that doesn't sit accurately. leaning downward from the front.
Nicely done pics!

The maroon is not the usual color you see on that car and is fantastic!! The ornament doesn't really distract but could you bang the back end of it down with a hammer?

That's one hell of a great looking AND rare (1942 ) Cadillac! I used to have a few of these Cadillac "dolls." The problem isn't that "the doll" is mounted wrong, the PROBLEM is that her wings are NOT parallel to the hood, they are incorrectly angled upward. 😫 😫 😫 But they are, as you noted, correctly positioned on your Series 67.
It’s a nice model, all three colors look great. I’ll have to look at mine for the hood ornament. I’d didn’t notice the angle.

@jcarnutz They are all the same. JK Review shows this issue on all 3 colors.
Stamp did the Series 62 1947 Club Coupe and Convertible. The hood ornament is also fine and mounted correctly. You are probably right that they did a completely new part while they already had one that was correct in their parts bin for this model. The paint job is flawless as well as the interior. Correct Nickies. Worse still, even if you were to file down "her wings" to make them parallel, the overall look would still be incorrect. If it were me, assuming I couldn't live with it, I'd either resin cast a new "doll" using a good one for the mold -or- try to find a Stamp junker for parts (yes, I know.... good luck, right? ).
@chris I will come back to you in a few days when I will have time. I will fix it with no stress.
John Quilter ......... how do you soften glue to adjust a hood ornament on a resin model without damage to the paint?
Unlike Brooklin who use a water soluble glue, I have never found a solvent for the glue used on resin models.

@john-quilter What do you do when working on resin models? Do you just pry the parts out?
I have a Stamp 1951 Cadillac Convertible parts car. I will try and see by using a vinyl tool blade used in body shops to remove trim pieces. I will post pictures of the experiment showing the results in a future post.
