The main core of my collection is Cadillacs and Buicks and I was anticipating this one to add as a companion to the Stamp 1947 Convertible of a few years ago. This is a nice model but the side chrome moldings and beltline trim are a very dull silver paint that doesn't shine at all. Curiously, it also has dual exhaust. Certainly not correct for the period but they did the same on the 1951 Convertible.

By comparison, Buicks and Cadillacs used the same coupe body and Goldvarg did a better job by using silver foil everywhere.

Here are the Stamp 1947 Convertible and 1942 Series 67 Sedan.

Yes, that silver sucks.... but it's still a GREAT LOOKING Cadillac, beautiful tu-tone  colors!  😀

Thanks Nickles for your review. I received the model in green and your observations are right on but I still feel the model is an excellent rendering of the 1/1 in scale and details. I have mine displayed next to the Brooklin convertible, top down, in the same color.

@bob-jackman This is definitely a nice rendition, no doubt about it. Nothing in metal can compare to it  Do you have the Convertible?
