Nice to see that side exhaust replicated in scale; it was such a popular option. Well.... so it seemed, when I was a kid. 😎
I remember the 1968 through 1970 Corvettes very well. I had friends who owned them, though none with side pipes. Thanks for another fine video.

I have the model in gold. The side pipes and raised white letter tires make the model outstanding IMO.
A nice-looking model. I've passed on this one so far because of the side pipes, I've never been fond of them.

John, great history lesson. This Vette is killer, can't go wrong with any color or version.

Another spectacular model from Stamp. Great video, John.
As popular as this C3 is (1968 to 1982) with '68 to '72 being the favored year models, I'd be surprised if they didn't render the open roadster, the most vaunted configuration.
@perrone1 I agree Tony....but I bet they make it soon. I like these Vettes much more than later when they changed the tail end with that "stuck on" piece.
@jack-dodds, I agree. This was the way the design was meant to be before they decided to make it for fourteen years! However, I do have some fondness for the '78-'82 bubble rear windows. Of course, by then, the Vette had become a caricature of itself. Fortunately, redemption came with the '84 model.

I enjoyed my 77 (thought it looked cool in 1980) but performance was atrocious. The C4 (1990 that’s me in 2000)) was a much better car. 😎✌️. With the heat in Virginia I rarely if ever take my top off the 2016 now.

Hey! Without those side pipes, there would be no way to burn your leg getting out of the car.
