I received this Stamp Models '73 Eldorado yesterday. When this one first was made available I wasn't sure if I ought to buy it as it is right on the border of the model year where I lose much of my interest in American car design....with various exceptions of course. I let it be for a number of weeks then waffled a bit over color choice between red and bronze. I chose red; mainly because IMO the interior and roof contrasted so well. Now that it is in hand I am very pleased with the model. I know most Forumites are familiar with this Caddy but here are a few pics:
It's a beauty ! The 500 c.i.d. V-8 is impressive, too.
A lovely model. We Forumites can never be too familiar with Cadillac Eldorados.
I too believe auto design falls of the edge at some point during the '70s, but there remain some very good items later and into the eighties, so keep buying!
