Here's the new Stamp '76 Cadillac Sedan De Ville (STM76503). I purchased mine from Dave Gilbert at ToyCarGeek.com. I love it. There's a lot of photos of this model already. So here it is with the GLM '76 Buick Electra (107201). And also with the NEO '76 Cadillac Coupe De Ville (44415):
At that point in time, most Cadillacs used the GM C-body. The C-body was shared with the Buick Electra and Oldsmobile 98 (both coupes and hardtops). Three excellent, informative YouTube videos by Adam at the Rare Classic Cars & Automotive History channel comparing the '76 Olds 98 with the '75 Olds 88 (which used the GM B-body) are HERE, HERE and HERE (about 20 min. each).
My own C-body: here's an 8mm home movie still of a 17yo me with my first car. 1972 Cadillac Coupe De Ville:
Purchased in August of '77, owned until spring of '79. Unfortunately, using an 8mpg car as a daily driver for school and work wasn't tenable after the second rise in gasoline prices.
Thanks for looking!
Great post and good looking models!
