a 1966 Chrysler T&C wagon at $139.99 and the 63 Cadillac Eldorado convertible at $134.99. Both plus shipping.
I'm guessing this is mostly tariff related. I should have passed but I'm weak.
Where's your limit?
I say to myself I just won't buy as many. Let's see how that works out.
I believe the T&C is by Matrix.
@bob-jackman Yes, you are correct, Bob. It is a Matrix. I don't know why I thought it was GLM.
So, both are pushing pricing rather aggressively. I told myself I was going to cut back and we see how that is working. 😊
From my dealer in the US, my Matrix Alfa Romeos went from $108/120 to 135, and my Kess from $108 to 125. I too am weak and will see what the next few releases bring. I also heard my dealer is splitting the cost of the tariffs with his customer! I hope he/they survive!
From my observations and buying experience, the price of Matrix models have always been higher because they are of better overall quality and finer details than GLM/Stamp and others. They all have real chrome trim and no silver paint and these details are important to me.From my dealer in the US, my Matrix Alfa Romeos went from $108/120 to 135, and my Kess from $108 to 125. The last Matrix I bought before the tariffs was the 1939 Mercedes Cabriolet 770K and it was already over $150 excluding shipping.
I am not aware of US dealers absorbing the cost of tariffs but if some do, they can afford it otherwise they would downsize and limit inventory.
These prices are, as has been said, tariff-related. Hopefully, they are temporary.

What the heck, if you can afford it go ahead and get it now while it's available. You never know what will happen in the future. I waited too long on some of my models and then they went up astronomically and I refuse to pay that price but then again Mark that's just me.

@100ford2003 Been there, done that too many times. Yes, I'm buying them when they come out if I really like them.
@whodeytink Mark, which color did you go with on the Chrysler? I want the blue one but the one U.S. source seller I see is "sold out" of that color...

@moe-parr Hey Barry, I went with the haze green. I liked the contrasting interior.
The tariffs have been a wake-up call to me to cut back. In 2026, regardless of what happens with tariffs, I expect to have a net reduction in my collection. For example, I have held off reserving the Stamp Charger and '63 Cadillac, though I would dearly love to get them. ebay seems to keep uping their fees (averaging 17% now) including the deplorable act of charging fees on postage costs, which should just be a pass-through. With the emergence of sites like Facebook Marketplace, I may test the waters there. And the 10% charged here is a better deal than ebay. Only problem is, any items I might sell here you guys probably already have!
@whodeytink In what I consider to be very good news, Dave just informed me he was able to obtain more blue ones so mine is now on order with ToyCarGeek! This one is a must-have for Moe Parr!

@moe-parr Excellent, Barry. Glad you found the color you wanted. What are your thoughts on the blackwall tires? I'd prefer whitewalls on a car of this vintage but all the pics show blackwalls. Not a deal killer but a preference for me.
