Here are some views of New York City’s iconic Ford Crown Vic taxis that were in use until the Crown Vic was discontinued in 2011. The 1:43 model is by Green Light. A nice replica, it lacks the extended rear door.

A reliable old workhorse. I still own a 1992 Crown Vic as a 2nd car; it just turned 100,000 miles. I love driving the old beast. It's not worth anything but I am really attached to it for some reason.
Jack I have a 2001 Crown Vic that also just turned 100,000 miles. Mine is a southern car and in mint condition. I bought mine from a friend who worked for Ford and had the car special built. The car is an LX but what makes it special is that it also had the Interceptor package. As you say these are not worth a lot but I love driving mine a lot.
I just bought two cabs today (MOC and USA). Hope to post soon after they get here.

Interesting with the Interceptor package! That would be fun to drive.
I’ve taken a Red Top cab from Alexandria, VA to Dulles Airport. Looked just like your model.

@lloyd-mecca That's why it's good to stick to Checkers. 1959 to 1982 + 7 years for wear =1989.
