Just received this model for my NART sub-collection. The North American Racing Team was run for many years by Luigi Chinetti, who won at Le Mans three times. Sadly, this 312P was not classified as a finisher due to insufficient distance covered for its class. But for that rule, Chuck Parsons and Tony Adamowicz would have been 10th.
What a difference 50+ years makes in the level of detail. And yet the old Solido model still presents itself well. Back then it cost $3.50 and had engine detail to boot.

I have the Techno and love it. I've run out of space but had to have it.

Thanks for the photos! Tecnomodel made some great stuff!Â
Impressive detail. Are these related in any way to the Joueffs?

@jkuvakas No. Technomodel is current (and take note Karl, "made" should be "make"). Here's my other ones:
While made of resin in China (as usual), I believe the company is based in Italy. They will make a group of 4-5 models at once, and provide a letter extension to the hyphenated number for the various versions. For example, I don't recall posting that front-engined Ferrari before. It is No. TM43-24E, and represents the Dino 246 with which Mike Hawthorne won the Moroccan GP and clinched his world championship in 1958. Any day now another model will arrive, the Ferrari 365 P2 "White Elephant" Le Mans coupe.
Tecnomodel make some great stuff! (take note, no h, 'arvey) 🤨 😉 Their website says they are in a suburb of Milan!
Jouef were part of a large French company and very nicely made but not as detailed I think.Â
@karl Joueff started out making super-detailed models, then became part of the Universal Hobbies group (I think), continuing the Joueffevolution name, then Eagle's Race. Here's my early 911 Carrera RS - note the REAL aspect opening doors (not dog-leg).
Duly noted on Technomodel name - I've got a few records to update!
That's a great model. The engine detail compares well to anything today.

That Jouefff is super nice - I have one packed away somewhere, but I thought it was less detailed. Maybe they made different series? Or it was under the Universal brand...
@karl They did make some less expensive 911s without all the opening features and less detail. Here are some examples I have, all branded as Eagle's Race.
