The second version of my personal Hudson parts delivery
Ever since I started selling models back in the 1970s. I have gone by the name Lilliput Motor Car Co. When I started to manufacture models, I went by the name Victory Models, with a sub series, La Familia by Victory. The name pertained to the "Family" car, in Italian.
Richard Briggs, proprietor of Minimarque 43, and I did a number of projects together, and one was a fantasy Hudson auto dealership, using a 1946-47 Hudson 3/4ton pickup, a parts delivery runner, with my name and address, plus Hudson period signage. I think we did 50 pieces only, because we had already done an initial run in Hudson Nepal Ivory. By the way, Lilliput Motor Car pertained to Gulliver's Travels, the little people in the book, were the Lilliputians, who needed little cars to get around.

Notice the spotlight and fog lights in the grille. The license plate is my Grandmother's house number. A small tribute to my favorite person.
Very nice!!
It sure is.
I like the Hudson and the story, Thank You.
A great way to start my day...reading your post Ray.
I really appreciate hearing some of the history behind the production of your cars. Thanks Raymond. How that you continue to share these stories.
Thanks for sharing this with us. Incidently, yesterday I was able to add two Victory models to my collection...the 1940 Buick sedan in green and the 1941 Studebaker Landcruiser in two tone green. Anxiously awaiting their arrival.
I love this background material. Thanks, Ray!
