Funny, Tuesday morning I had that FM square blue bird in my hand for 30 bucks til I noticed the front driver side turn signal missing.  A shame because it is a nice model of a fine car.  Love the Conquest model as well.  😎👍  A few more “bluebirds”

@frank

Nice group of models. Looks like you have a flock of baby birds.

@rich-sufficool Really nice pics Rich; I have many of these FM 1/43's, but not this one.

I thought I read once that because FM contracted with multiple suppliers to produce their 1/43 series, quality & accuracy varied - some were better than others - this '58 Bird being one of them.   Perhaps you, Tony P., or John K. have further info.?

(I'd say their 1951 Mercury was the worst  😔 😔)

worst

@chris I just remember there were two series of the 1/43s. I bought the ones that looked the best. At 79, I'm lucky if I remember where my car keys are. LOL

@chris Hmmm... I thought it was a bit chilly today. Thanks for the heads-up, Chris.
