It's "W" car week over at Facebook's Scale 143 group, so I took these out for pics. These are all 4 of the WM-Peugeot P81s and P79/80s from Le Mans 1981. The P81s (82 and 83) both DNF'd, as did P79/80 No. 5. The lone finisher was No. 4 in 13th place. Models by Bizarre, race photos by me. The No. 82 car lasted only 2 hours, so I didn't get a complete photo of it amongst all the pics I took there. But I learned quickly how to pan my shots. Note how the WMs had color-co-ordinated headlight covers which came off for night racing.

Harv, your photographic skills are surpassed only by your subjects. Thanks for the post! While I don't follow racing, I really like these glorious colors!
