I would like to dedicate this post to John Merritt and thank him for all his contributions here on the 43......................get better soon John.
These models are called Boss models and are produced by SMTS, the sister white metal model company of Brooklin, and the crafters of Conquest models, Western Models Collectors Editions (WMCE), and Highway Travelers models at Route 66 models.....in fact, Buz at Route 66 models actually commissioned some of these Boss models.
These are very high quality white metal models and have a lot of value, selling for about $100 less than typical white metal models with the same detail.
The first Mustang pictured is very rare.....it is a Tony Delorenzo Ford team Trans Am Mustang and it was a surprise to Buz when I sent him a picture of it....he said he has never seen one.....you know it is rare if Buz has never seen one!

That Sunoco Javelin has always been my favorite!
Love that Trans Am Javelin and that rare Mustang (What a wonderful series that was.) especially although everything shown here is great to see. This is a very fitting tribute to John, Ben. Thank you!
Nice thought Ben and John, get better soon.
Thank-you very much for your thoughts.
I really like that "Grabber Green" ?? Mustang. I wasn't aware of its existence.

I've always loved the Boss models. There are a few I haven't seen before. Nice!

I have two of the Boss models, both street versions. One is the yellow and black 1970 Barracuda shown above. Buz identified it as one of the Dan Gurney edition models. The second is a blue 1970 Javelin, which is a Mark Donahue edition. My models are shown in below picture, along with an ElMo 1968 Mustang.
