Time for another Wish List poll?? Many wishes came true with Matrix' Chrysler Turbine, and
Goldvarg's upcoming GM 'bubbletops' and early 60s Buicks, but we all have subjects we'd love to collect.
Here's what I'd like to park on my shelves:
*Ferrari 250 GTL "Lusso". Something less costly than BBR.
*The current Rolls Royce Dawn convertible, and sister ship Wraith 2-dr. More interesting than the zillions of Phantoms and Ghosts produced in our scale
*Any 60s Cadillac deVille or 60 Special/ Fleetwood
*1968-70 Plymouth GTX, w hood scoop, and dog dish wheels
*Bentley S2 Continental Mulliner Coupe [like the Corgi from 55-odd years ago]
*Bentley S1/S2 Continental James Young 4dr
*Bentley S1/S2 [non-Continental] James Young 4dr LWB
*1971/72 Buick LeSabre/ Centurion 2 dr. Far more sleek than the homely 1974 as chosen by NEO.
1962 Chevy Impala 2-door hardtop - White with
Red interior and red side chrome inset.
This my #1 as well....same colors. #2 is "63 Pontiac GP #3 '56 Chevy Nomad; #4 '62 Olds 2drht; #5 is '62 Pontiac Bonneville HT
A couple of my weird ones that don't really exist yet.
But I'd love for them to.
Dodge Aspen, preferably '76-77 SE sedan, though the SE coupe would be fine too (or both). I'd take the later model years as well, as long as it was an accurate quality model. That's my number one hope to happen one of these days.
AMC Matador Coupe, 1974-75. Surprised that this doesn't seem to exist. There is a pretty good one made for the James Bond car collection, but it's got fixed turning wheels so it's a bit... special. I can imagine somebody could make a good partswork of that, but surely this has to be an oversight if nobody has done this car yet otherwise.
AMC Marlin. How does this not exist? In any scale that's not a kit? I find it quite attractive despite its obvious "let's slam a fastback roof on a family sedan" basis. I like the earlier '65-66 models better, but the '67 isn't bad either.
'73 Toyota Corona Mark II sedan, just for my nostalgia feels if for nothing else. And maybe a '65 Barracuda could be nice, and a '66-67 Charger.
A big ugly 1958 Cadillac 60 special in pink.
I collected Matchbox cars as a kid and would like to see this in 1/43. I think the 58s were even uglier than the 59s.
A 1961 Cadillac Coupe DeVille and the 4 door flat top.
A 1967 Coupe DeVille Hardtop
An International Harvester Metro van. I'd like to see American Heritage issue this.
A 1970 Buick LeSabre 2 door, Gold with a black vinyl top. Family car.
A 1957 6 window Imperial black.
A 1963 4 door Imperial maroon.
A 1964-1966 4 door Imperial. Mr. Drysdale's triple black car.
A 1950s Oscar Mayer Wiener Wagon.
A White 3000 Truck. One of the most ubiquitous trucks of the 50s and only available as a 1/48 Revell kit. Love to see NewRay tackle this.
Jay. I like the idea of an Oscar Meyer wiener wagon. I'd buy it.
Limited production British fiberglass
Gilbern Invader Mk.II
Ginetta G4 Series II open
Piper GTT
Elva Courier
...such pretty little cars!
Corvette GTP
Mark - How about this Bentley by Matrix?

Yes, I know it's a Park Ward and not Mulliner (they merged in 1961), but it's very close to the Corgi:

I have both David Niven's green and Jack Warner's bronze versions!
+1 Exactly that! The '62 Inpala.
66-67 Chevy ll Nova !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Okay, now we're talking! This class of car is a separate "Wish List"
for me. For me #1 is '67 Nova SS; #2 is '69 Chevelle SS; #3 is '68 Charger R/T; #4 is '67 Chevelle SS; #5 is '65 Nova SS. The 65 Chevelle isn't mentioned because Brooklin is planning it. There are so very many other great candidates in this category as well...GTOs for example.
#1 is 63 GP for me.
