@jack-dodds They were to expensive to build and were very small not suitable for export market. I collect rare automotive books and I have the only book ever written about the history of design up to production including racing data.

@jack-dodds This is the HPI/Mirage version of one of the 1966 Tokyo Motor Show cars. This is one of those colors that can only be appreciated under bright light - an overcast day or shade just doesn't do it justice (comparison below).
@mg-harv Gorgeous color on that car....and on most cars IMHO; it's my favorite car color.
