Whatever its state of conservation, this is a fairly rare model, especially in perfect condition...The chrome on the grill is often faded; i had to take mine back to bare metal to restore its shine.

I was looking for this toy for several months and found this one on Ebay Great Britain.

I think you have to look often on Ebay, otherwise the auction sites can reveal good surprises; you have to be patient! 😉

I unfortunately did not find any documentation concerning the design of this model. I think that this bus is a special creation sold at the time by Sears only and which was used after on several occasions by the "Century 21" modelers as a versatile accessory from 1964 in the "Stingray" then "Thunderbirds" TV series.

Question: is this a model of a real bus or someone's special creation?  Either way, very unique.

Pure "Thunderbirds Imagination"....... nothing else.
