Trenton Transit Bus
Thank you for the very nice comments. This was actually my signing up to be able to make my comments directly on the forum, rather than asking Randy Olson or John Kuvakas to post when I have something to say. Thanks so much for your help. This was only supposed to be a test shot to see if I could post a picture. Still can't reduce the size. That is the 2nd bus I manufactured about 15 years ago. I grew up in Trenton, NJ and rode that exact bus to take piano lessons, when I was about 12 years old.
Raymond, you actually built that model bus? It’s incredible!
Can you tell us more about how you built it?

Welcome, Ray! Answering David's question, Ray founded Victory Models...
....And between the late 1980s and early 2000s issued many more than a dozen different subjects including several 41 Cadillacs, 40 LaSalle, 38 and 40 Buicks, 41 Packards, 41 Studebaker, 42 Desoto, post war Nashes, Checkers, Diamond T trucks, and a small line of 47 GM buses. The models were well-proportioned and nicely detailed and finished similar to today's Goldvarg and GLM product. In fact GLMs 41 Cadillac sedanets looks like a brother to the Victory version.
Ray did all the measuring, research, paint selection, quality control, and myriad other tasks to steward these through the entire process from initial design to production. I devoted several pages to Victory Models in my "in Miniature" books. I hope to post some more pix later....but now Ray that you are here, perhaps you will grace us with more information and fine photos of your lovely subjects.
i have several victory models they re gorgeous
I too have many Victory models my favorites being the 1942 DeSoto coupe and convertible. Victory models are true gems in their attention to details. Ray, now that you are posting here I would hope, as Randall suggested, that you mighr share with us your experiences as one who has seen the manufacture of these models we all collect.
