Long hoods and short decks, these cars make me feel good.

Harmony is important to me and for some reason most American cars have that.

Cab-forward-designs give me an uncertain and unsettling feeling, know what I mean ?

Then what on earth made me buy Autocult's Renault Projet 900 from 1959 ?

This model constantly gives me goose-bumps.

And then, it is also a brilliant model of a car that shows how certain people think .

Here it is, with a model from Autocult.

Tell me what you think of it.

It's confused.... but I understand the appeal (in model form ).    It's certainly a design no one would guess was from 1959 - therefore, in a way, it's "advanced."

Congrats Joop!

Which way is it going? HA! How cool; it looks like a small station wagon that someone has reversed. Congrats - glad it makes you happy!

It is an unusual-looking automobile but appears to be very well done and as a model and in real life would be a true vehicle to gather discussion. Quite an interesting car !

I think it was designed after a night of heavy drinking of French Cognac. Only the French would come up with something like this...

I've heard some people's ideas described as "backward-looking", but this is ridiculous.

If I had this model, I might just be tempted to remove the seating/dashboard assembly and turn it the other way round, and re-colour the front and back lights, to make quite a neat little hatchback.

And it took until 1967 for the Americans to make a pickup truck out of it! 😯
