Thank you for the comment about my visiting "the derelict side" as you referred to it.  I enjoy hearing about and seeing 1:43 cars, I'm afraid for me "size still matters".  I've never purchased a 1:43 scale car and honestly I've yet to be tempted.  I looked extensively at the Goldvarg '62 Oldsmobile's a few times, because if any car were to tempt me to purchase 1:43, it would be those particular models and likely any Oldsmobile as well.  But, even when I think about, I just can't get myself to do it.  I think for this scale of model, I'm a showroom looker only.  Hope you are doing well Ben.

@moe-parr  You may be aware of this already, but there is also a metallic green "regular" version coming out soon which I believe will be roof rack delete.  This is the one I've ordered.

The green version also does not have the jewelry of the Starfire trim, which in my opinion, makes the model much more appealing.

@ben-lampson  I agree with you that the fancier one is more appealing but my thing is about originality so I picked the green one.  Each to their own I guess, but either one is a beautiful model IMO.

I certainly can respect your devotion to originality Jack, and although I just ordered the Starfire version, I just might go ahead and get the green one also. 

These Goldvargs are getting better and better, and the better they get, the faster they sell out!

@ben-lampson  I agree Ben, Sergio does a really nice job of them and his QC is amazing.  I have most of them and plan on getting most that are planned.  The only era that I'm not so keen on is from 1973 onward.  I love the 60s models he is producing!

I received the Olds models Friday.  They are both simply beautiful.  As usual, build quality is perfect.  I'm not sure which version I like best.

John, you hit another one out of the park! Just as Sergio did with this model.
