Thanks, John ! Some extremely interesting vehicles shown here and the photographs certainly show a very wide variety. There is definitely something for everyone to find especially cool.

Great to see this edition of Wessex Smalltalk. Barry the editor may not have been too motivated but the selection or articles and model car images is absolutely fascinating. Thank you John. Also, nice to see quite a few ‘toys’ in my collection.

A frat brother of mine had a Hillman Husky in high school in Sioux Falls SD. He used to plow into snow drifts and commit other deranged teenage activities with it. When he went to Illinois Tech, the car was stored, via fork lift, in his father's pipe and supply warehouse. Not sure whatever became of it, though it might have fallen off the storage rack. At a swapmeet in Chicago in the late 70s I found an old Corgi and bought it for him. Here's mine:
