"....not to worry, that's only one of my backups."
Someone call the authorities....the man has weapons of mass revulsion stashed away!
Fear not, nor live in trepidation
For heat and cold and oxidation
Will shred away the last defences
Of this cruel assault on the human senses.

And trust me, they'll all go the same way in the end. Entropy, the Heat Death of the Universe, ain't life a bitch?
Sorry, I have these pretentious philosophical urges sometimes. Just ignore me and keep taking the Pepto Bismol. Diluted to 1:43 for greater effect (you know, the homeopathic principle, as promoted by the great American mystic Pinkun Green).

@graeme-ogg Quite right Graeme and the sooner the blessed end of this (these) Chevy Belch Airs the better. Only diamonds are forever and this one sure ain't that!
Holy vulture droppings....your poem was deep, deep stuff. I became emotional reading it; mind you my Prozac prescription expired the other day.......
THE KUVAKAS CHEVY TOURS THE DESERT OF AMERICA**
"You see, I've been through the desert in a Chev of great fame
Its barfy paint job caused my eyes great strain
In the desert, I could drive without shame
No passers by to laugh that JK's paint was clearly insane"
Lallalaaaalalalalala...lalalalala.......
"After nine days I simply had to break free
The pink and green nearly blinded me
I dumped the Chev in some plants and rocks and things
Exposed to sand and wind and rain
The Chevy's now a pen where many vultures abound; giving shade from the sun above
Back in the cities there came a loud cheering sound
To be rid of the Chev they just could not love"
Lallalaaaalalalalala...lalalalala.......
**Writer Dewey Bunnell also says he remembered his childhood travels through the Arizona and New Mexico desert when his family lived at Vandenberg Air Force Base. Bunnell has explained that "A Horse with No Name" was "a metaphor for a vehicle to get away from life's confusion into a quiet, peaceful place".
Such dark sentiments. Such fearful imagery. It's all so different from the sweetness and innocence of only 2 years earlier, with Billie Jo Spears and her '57 Chevrolet.

@graeme-ogg With any luck this Billy Jo will jump off the Talahachie bridge too....better yet drive off of it in this eyesore.
All kidding aside...how did you two manage to locate my Chevy'e big brother?? He's been lost for years!

Ah, right.
So how was it located? Well, as reported above, our Mr Dodds rode through the desert on a horse with no name, and he very kindly notified me of his momentous discovery out there. Since he hasn't yet figured how to take photos on his smartphone (or to make calls, for that matter) I had to resort to a little artistic licence.
