What is a Panhard?
Who made it?
Bob
Panhard was an old France made car
From my recollection it started in the lat 1800's and was made until the 60's?
The last in the line was made by Solido and Dinky Toys, France.

Panhard was a very forward thinking manufacturer.
The 1930s Aerodynamique was an amazing machine with a semi-central steering wheel. Two passengers could sit one side of the driver with a third on the other side.
The Dyna saloon of the 50s was very advanced and Citroen used a lot of Panhard ideas after the takeover - a great compliment from a company also known for forward thinking.
One of my favourite French Dinkies Chris - the little 24CT in dark metallic grey
Yes a very nice casting John complete with sliding windows!

Panhard engined cars
There were a lot of small carmakers using Panhard engines as recently as the late 1960s. Perhaps the best known is Deutsch-Bonnet (DB), who made mainly racing cars..
Solido's 24BT was one of the first Solidos I ever got - pretty sleek for it's day
Thank you
Thanks all for the info on the Panhard.
Bob
PICS, One of the most famous Panhard's, the 1936 Dynamic.
It's probably the most outrageous Art Deco auto design. Note the steering wheel in the middle, good (or bad) for both sides of the channel.
