I'm in no way a BRK expert, but the grille appears to be blackwashed on the Vette on the right.

The one with the Green license has a Black baseplate.

The other one has a Silver baseplate, but not necessarily. It could be the other way around.

Inspector Clousseau says:

The one on the right was driven by a short man from Lithuania while he was smoking a filtered cigarette and wearing a brown tweed suit.

The one on the left was once owned by an aging heiress who had a villa on the coast of Spain that had no wine cellar.

Clousseau is a master at reading the clues to any given setting!

It's either this....or Dick is right about the bases.

Hmmm...a diabolical scheme to discredit the Inspector with the truth!

By the way....

I really like this type of posting. It's a great way to learn more about our hobby. I spent a lot of time studying the cars and enjoyed the challenge. Good job, Ed!

PICS Not much "chasing" to do with John Scrivens' book.

His "THE BROOKLIN COLLECTION GUIDE 1974-2007" is my bible. Here's the page on the Corvette...
