Very Impressive!
Can you tell us about the Imperial hardtop and the pale yellow, top up 300?
Conquest Imperial and a John Roberts 300E.I have to say that both are at the top end of 43rd, John in my estimation.
I'd love to see more detail on both, if you ever have time.
Only extra detail I can give is a couple of close-ups-----

Nice photos and great models! Thanks......
Can I ask what surface the cars are sitting on? It's almost mirror like but not quite as reflective. I want that effect for my photos and can't figure out how to do it.
Very nice! What is that on the trailer?
Jim, I think that that is the matte black Chrysler C300 in "restorable"
or "project" status which was part of the set offered as the UK Brooklin
Collectors CLub Special in 2002. This is according to Roger Mateo's book
"Brooklin Standards." I hadn't seen one before, but this is obviously intended
to be a car in deteriorating condition being rescued for restoration.
Right Ed, or Dick?
According to the book, 240 sets were made. Then, in 2003, 240 cars were
offered in gloss black as the "third part of the set." I guess it's supposed to
represent a "before" and "after" package, or perhaps the finished car can be
set up to be towing the project car.

Here is one from ebay which failed to sell---
You are correct Rick Click Here
I think even Dick would have trouble counting the differences between the "wreck" and the "restored" C300 model!!
Got into trouble over this one John.I used the better halfs "chopping board" which is a sheet of blue glass.
The finished restored C300 was only one of 210
Which is a shame really as that means there are 30 Part 1 sets out there without the full compliment. this finished model called "finished at last" was quite special for the club as it was the one and only model offered to members for ?25, which at the time was a little over half price. the reason for this was, a lot of scrimping and saving by the commitee members got the accounts into an even more healthy postion than they were before, so with the surplus cash available to us we thought we'd hand some back to the members. Although no one knew, this model was being planned along side the part 1 of the set "found at last". It was always my dream to find a late 60's early 70's Hemi car in a barn somewhere, and thats were the idea came from for this set.
The history of any model is great to read and I sometimes wonder Mo if such information will be lost to future generations. Is a request for a printed "book" of this forum since inception a silly request?I personnally would even buy one.
Great info, Mo
But I'm afraid I don't follow the "30 Part 1" statemtn. Would you mind clarifying? I have all three models and it's a great set!
No problem John
The original set or Part 1 was the "Found at last" set comprising of the Burgundy Chrysler convertible, trailer and unrestored black C300. This Part 1 set, is 1 of 240 pieces. the second part of the set, Part 2 "finished at last" the completely restored Chrysler, was only 1 of 210 pieces, so it would be impossible for all 240 original sets, have a restored item with it, as there were 30 less produced. So 30 sets with a trailer do not have restored Chryslers to go with them.
Hope this helps, Cheers Mo.. PS this my absolute favourite set, Big Time.
