So I recently posted my short list of holy grail models and I featured my just-acquired Crossway Models Rover Jet I turbine car. In that post, I mentioned two other models that I was still chasing. One was the Autocult Wikov and the other was the GLM Duesenberg Queen of Diamonds. Well, Dave from Toy Car Geek came through and hooked me up with the Wikov and I had a good lead on eBay this week for the Duesey. It was being sold in a 4 piece lot of other models so I thought my chances were good. But clearly someone wanted it more than me, because I lost in the final minutes with a bid that exceeded my comfort level.
I'm curious if any of you were the winner... @jcarnutz, was it you? 🙂

Nope, it wasn't me. I've been too busy this week to even look at any auctions. Too bad to, because I don't have three of those four, I'd love to have the others as well.
