I have never had an issue of removing white glue with warm water in my many years of model building. If boiling water does not do it, it isn't white glue. hot water softens up pretty much all glues. I heat water to between 140 and 150 degrees and immerse the part of the model I want off for about 30 to 45 seconds and pry a corner. If it starts coming, great then I immerse again and pull a little more until done. The heat goes away fairly fast so this is why I do this thing is stages. I don't try to force anything. As for the rear glass on that padded top I put a piece of masking tape doubled up to insulate the window from direct heat. Hope this helps.

Well I just stripped it. Those who thought it was one piece---you were right!
