Well, maybe not with the top down. Here's some pics I took of Automodello's 1954 Packard Caribbean convertible in Black over Sahara Sand. A lot of the details including the badges and scripts are best appreciated under magnification.

Rich, when did you get the car?  I received the Automodello email today, and I was surprised you already had it. From the photos, it does look very nice.

Love the texture on the top and boot. Are they cloth-covered?

Simply OUTSTANDING !!!!!  I am buying it.

Unfortunately, Brooklin's has to go back to the drawing board to compete with the sharpness and accuracy of this one.

The model looks great. I'm guessing I will have a model of this car from my MOC, Brooklin and Automodello.

@ed-davis Jim Cowen sent it to me to photograph a couple of days ago.

@jkuvakas Textured hard (top up) and flexible(tonneau) plastic. Nicely scaled.

@bob-jackman, that would make a great comparison video!

Love the model, especially that textured convertible top. I have several versions of this car but this one surpasses them all.

@rich-sufficool

One more question, does the base or package indicate how many models were made?

@ed-davis   The website says 143 max will be produced.

@tedweller, I assume that 143 refers to the number made in that color. There will be at least one other color combo available through a club. That one will be Packard Ivory over Red. Those should prove to be quite rare.

They must have had them all packed and ready to slap a label on the boxes, as I ordered one the minute I saw the email on Friday, and it arrived on my metro Detroit doorstep about 10:30 the next morning (today).

Definitely a beautiful model, typical of Automodello quality.
