It isn't old, but I found this out in my storage area. Unusual markings? Sorry, no packaging was with it.

Dave, the short answer is, "No."   It's simply too new to have any real value.  If you had this 1957-1962 version, however, I'd say you'd have a $100-$150 (possibly more) vintage Matchbox.  I should note that I am NOT a Matchbox expert.

David's VW Van is a 2019 issue re-tooled from the earlier version with smoke windows, white plastic base and total redesign top metal part with rivets for quick assembly. It was only out one year 2019 with a repaint 2020, also for only one year.

 It was only released in a 5-Pack MBX Service Set, made in Thailand.

David, you might be pleased to find the current selling price relatively high due to comparative rarity, is about $5-8 for mint (no box as part of larger set).

It is 1/58 scale.

 

2020 issue as changed for the second year, still in a 5-Pack.
