I have these as well; very nostalgic for me.

I remember the Lesney Matchbox models very well. I had several when I was a younger, many years younger. I used them with my HO scale model trains. However, I do not think I had any MGs.

In 1993, Matchbox reissued the MGA in its MATCHBOX ORIGINAL Series. This time in British Racing Green.
The original top casting was used but a there was a different base, this time in the body colour rather than red.
