Today I received the Sid Kamp Superliner.

Truly a piece of art, but what struck me most is the way they chromed the model.

It looks like all chromed pieces are chrome-plated.

It shows not really good on the pictures, but the chrome is really toned down a bit.

Very nice.

Lots of detail. Who made the model?

I absolutely love these tractors but have no room to add another theme to my collection. The detail on these models is stunning.

There have been very detailed truck models in 1/64 scale for many years. Companies like Code3 and Diecast Promotions made great diecast models over 20 years ago. Later First Gear added 1/64 scale trucks to their product line. Today, models in resin are available from companies such as NEO and IXO. I suspect one reason for the popularity of truck models in this scale is size. The long tractor trailer models could be too large for collectors in other scales. I have seven highly detailed truck models in this scale.
