Matchbox Superfast MB 70 1970 Pontiac GTO Judge
The GTO letters were in fact stolen from the Ferrari 250 GTO, which was introduced earlier than the first Pontiac GTO, a souped up Tempest.
This so-called Grand Tempest Option, initially led to the letters GTO.
First introduced by Matchbox in 1996 in 1/67 scale, this Orange version is the original version made in China with black plastic base, black interior, blue and yellow tempo and ’70 Pontiac GTO Judge on the base. Wheels are chrome with 6 slanted spokes on black background. Initially boxed, it also came in a bubble pack.
This proves a very popular casting with at least 20 other versions in different colours available as late as 2010.

@david-green Hi David An impressive replica of this muscle car. This was released a year before Mattel bought Matchbox in 1997. In essence since that date Matchbox have been virtually unattainable in the UK.
