Hi Guys

Just bought this toy for 99 cents plus $4 postage.  Would like to strip the paint, off any suggestions?  I do not think my paint stripper would do the job on the old paint.  Also a pic of my code 3 Matchbox Bedford truck with a Dinky version of a petrol trailer.  I like Bedford Dinky and Matchbox trucks and cast a few trucks and trailers in Matchbox scale, just trailers in Dinky scale

Thanks

JD

Interesting casting work Jack. The results look very good.

I use brake fluid as a paint remover on old matchbox toys. It is not perfect but used with fine steel wool, it usually cleans the casting.

I have a dozen ir so waiting for repaint. The castings need a good washing using cleaning fluids before you can paint.
