I was blown away by all of M2's 1950's cars when they were released years ago, the Desoto was no exception.
M2 did a great job on this one. I especially like this colour combination, Mike.
I agree with the above comments. I have this DeSoto in eight different colors
It is a good-looking '55 DeSoto ! I didn't realize they modeled it in so many colors, but it would look great in all of them.
I am adding two pictures of my blue and white 1955 DeSoto. The first shows it at the local drive-in, and the second at the local gas station.

Totally agree they look great! Certainly nicely done as the photos show. But 1:64 scale? Holy Binoculars! If I'm correct, that is smaller than 1:43 scale! As nice as the photos look, I guess that is the closest I'll ever get to these.Â

Yes indeed George, 1/64 (Hot Wheels size ) has come a long way and continues to push the envelope. These 10-year-old M2 1950's cars, as NICE as they are, look a bit crude by today's standards. Here's just four examples of 1/64 cars today.....look closely! 😯 😯 😯Â
I appreciate you sharing. Thank you! But as I said, 1:64 is just way too small. To my thinking they are not collectibles, only little kids toys. Never bought a Hot Wheels model in my life, and with these M2 models being that size, I will never own them. I love the pics though! Â

I generally like all the scales, although 1/18 and 1/43 tend to be the major part of my current collection. I think I have replicas ranging from about 1/8 to 1/87 in scale size. Naturally, they are all replicas of a 1:1 automobile/truck/vehicle in real life (which I like, too) !Â
