The regular gasoline-powered Corvette seems like a real monster ! One of my brothers has a 2024 V-8 Corvette and it is an astoundingly fast and powerful automobile.

Fast for sure. Try getting it insured. If you can find a company willing to issue a policy I'm betting you will pay crazy $.

For a ZR-1? In the US NY,NJ you would pay upwards of 2-3X that amount per year for a Base 1LT.

Currently pricing out for ZR1  may get one in about 3 yrs according to dealer,   Ins, as stated $1050 per  now have C8 Z51 coverage $750  per. Not as bad as you think as long as you garage it and  do not travel to Chicago  Ha Ha.

Of course, if you can afford the new ZR-1, you can probably afford the insurance.
