Great video. I saw this coming. The Demon is a phenomenal performer, but it is a one-note machine. And, it is heavy. MOPAR and GM made their new pony cars look smaller by equipping them with larger wheels and shorter greenhouses. It doesn't hide the fact that they're both fairly large vehicles that weigh a lot. In addition, the Demon utilizes a platform that dates all the way back to the Chrysler LH cars of the early nineties. The Corvette is, in every way, a world-class performer with balance, a sophisticated chassis, and state-of-the-art technology in putting power to the pavement. It also weighs about 600 pounds less than the Dodge. The torque rating on the Z06 is 679 ft lbs while the Demons is 717 ft lbs. There's not enough difference in the torque to overcome the weight difference.

These two are close in price too aren't they John? I love them both but for the $$ it's no contest for looks and performance.
Pricing is hard to nail down. The MSRPs aren't too terribly different, but the actual purchase prices on both cars vary greatly.
