IT'S BACK!

A couple of weeks ago when the Diecast Zone's "Attach Files" ability went haywire, "REAR VIEW MIRROR" was forced to take an unwanted hiatus.  But now as they say, "We're Back Baby"!  Smile

As the old Time Machine is cranked up, we're going backwards, starting with 1938.  Lot's of interesting news and tidbits this year, as it's announced that Ford Motor Company is launching a new car to bridge the gap between Ford and Lincoln, it was the MERCURY with production beginning on the All-New 1939 model at the hefty price of $916.

With the average household income at a meager $1,221 it would almost take your entire year's salary to pay cash for one.  And then to drive your new Mercury to the movies it was going to cost you 20 cents for a gallon of gas and 23 cents to get in to the show.

How could things be worse?
