MERCURY'S top-of-the-line MONCLAIR HARDTOP COUPE sold brand new for $2.765. It was the most popular Mercury for '56 and it saw 50,562 roll off the assembly line.

Just kidding!!! But it is my favorite two-tone combination on 50's cars.

What a beautiful car ! One of my SunStar '56 Mercs is a convertible in these same colors but in a reversed scheme of yellow over black.

I have a Sun Star 1:18 black & red '56 convertible. It too, is beautiful.
