anything has been done to fix this. The result will be much less likelihood to drop by, I'm sure, for those that encounter this.

I'm sorry, Mike. I know it's frustrating. But they're part of the site and will not be going away. Things should be a lot easier if you stay logged in instead of logging out when you leave the site. I haven't encountered those screens for several months.

I only experienced them once when on my PC (I stay logged in), but when my iPad decides to (randomly) log me out...well, that's another story...

@terryslekar, I've had the same experience, Terry. My laptop and desk console keep me logged in but my tablet seems to log me out.

The only times I have to login is after I had logged out. Most of the time I don't logout.

John, I know it's not your fault and you have been responsive and sympathetic, so many thanks ! Hopefully, at a higher level or tech level they will make adjustments, because I cannot see how security is increased by making anyone who logs in with their stored valid user name and password, would need to go through multiple rC screens. It seems pretty random, too, in that 1 to 10 screens (with probably 3 to 5 being an average) will come up.
Staying logged in is not a solution and is not feasible in a number of instances anyway. If there are utterly no adjustments or controls possible, that would be rather troubling, too, as you would think one would have pretty authoritative say over one's own website, unless all control has been surrendered to web hosts, software, or server owners.

I gotta jump in here too,
Yesterday it took 7 screens to get in.
I cannot remain logged on once I leave, although I have tried.
Three other forums I frequent have upgraded their software in the last 2 months and NONE of them use rC screens. I do not understand why we are locked into this. I know, factually, that it can be removed.
It certainly keeps me out, which seems to go against having more members participate. I notice a lot of folks previously on the old site a great deal now missing or with limited participation.
