@frank

That is my conclusion too Frank, since Ship is capitalized.

Well, a linguistic pedant might point out that "Ship" is capitalised because it is the first word in a new sentence. Nonetheless, the answer IS probably "Ship".

(And I think J. Barry's picture is actually a polar bear, but what do I know?)

John B's pic looks like a polar bear to me as well. The ship's name is "What." John Barry wins a free night's stay at Tiffany's Motel in Scranton, PA. Their motto, "Downtown is close but I wouldn't try walking there."

Actually, "Ship" is never at the beginning of a sentence. Agree on the "bear" part.

And "Captain" is inappropriately capitalized twice.

I am with the polar bear crowd… here is a pic of the figurehead of a historic ship, the Revenue Cutter BEAR.

          ..........another day....another conquest to add to my empire 🤨

             .......there once WAS a bird-in-a-board, but I confess to having lost the picture upon which that insidious contest was based.....at the bunko hearing that followed,and pursuant to the criminal trial proceedings,the grand jury took possession of the original board .....it was accidentally used for heating the jury room on that winter day when the electric went on the fritz.....

           .........Polar Bear or Husky,I`m gratified that my plywood received some well deserved recognition....Thank you all

           .........Mr Kovakis,Thank you!!!!!.......A cloud of uncertanty has descended over my family at the mere prospect of enjoying your lovely grand hotel ......visiting the greater Scranton area has long been a dream of our boy Timmy,but that may just be his rebellions nature coming through......and thank you especially for the walking tour suggestion

          ....... should we be on the lookout for a taxi-cab arrival,or do we find our own way to the local airport?

         ........this is still all a dream for me......but looking back over the original pamphlet, *there never WAS a question asked*.....was there?
